v2 Released


Significant additions and changes have been made, mostly in response to the productive feedback I got from the [Feedback Quest 6 Game Jam].

Controls
Originally designed to be played using touch controls on a mobile, or arrows on the keyboard on a computer. Can now also be be played using the mouse by clicking on the blocks.

Enemy timer
More generous with 8 seconds at the first floor, but does get shorter the further you go.

Choice to descend
At the end of each floor you get the choice to stay or progress by descending. Each floor does get a bit more difficult, with different obstacles and enemies with higher HP.

Events
Treasure chests and split paths can appear. These are random.

Improved Shop
You can now purchase items at the end of each odd numbered floor:
- Health recovery
- Boomerangs (previously known as Time Stop. This will stun the enemy and stop the timer)
- Sword upgrade (increase damage range)
- Shield and upgrade (can now take hits without breaking, but with adjusted block percentage)

Cost of items have also been adjusted.

Stages
Previously an endless puzzle, there are now 12 floors to go through. Completing all floors will trigger an end sequence.

Progress
Bottom of the screen now displays your progress on the floor.

More Bosses
Bosses will appear at the end of each even numbered floor. Previously there were only 3, but now there are 6.


These changes do make it a lot easier, particularly if you're a natural at 3x3 slide puzzles. But it should be a lot more accessible, and I hope it also means more can enjoy it.
